Sacramento Society, CAR
April 18, 2010

The Sacramento Society, Children of the American Revolution met on April 18th at the El Dorado County Historical Museum where the group had a tour.

The Sr. Officers of the Society present for this meeting were Jeanette Barrett, DAR -Sr. President (left rear), Jim Young, President Mother Lode Chapter SAR – Sr. Treasurer, Jim Faulkinbury, Secretary Sacramento Chapter – Sr. Registrar (right). Katherine McJimsey, Jim Faulkinbury's granddaughter was recognized as a new member (4th from left in front row). Several of the members were presented with the new CAR membership certificate. Missing from the photo is Sacramento Chapter Compatriot Jim Malinovsky and his daughter who were also there.

The Children of the American Revolution (CAR's) mission is to train good citizens, develop leaders and promote love of the USA and its heritage among young people.
