Daniel Rodriguez Awarded the SAR Silver Good Citizenship Medal
February 14, 2010

On Valentine's Day, Februarty 14, Tom Chilton and I, representing the Sacramento Chapter, were honored to have the privilege of awarding Daniel Rodriguez the SAR Silver Good Ciitizenship Medal for his philanthropic and charitable activities not only in the USA but around the world as well. The awarding of this medal was authorized by CASSAR President, Louis Carlson; CASSAR VP Northern California, Wayne Griswold; CASSAR Secretary Jim Faulkingbury; and Sacramento Chapter President, Donald Littlefield.

You may better remember Daniel Rodriguez as the so-called "singing policeman,"—the New York City cop who helped bring the country an uplifting spirit of promise and hope with his stirring rendition of "God Bless America" after the September 11 terrorist attacks. Visit Daniel's web site at http://danielrodriguezmusic.com/.
