Sacramento Chapter Participates on Memorial Day

Members of the Sacramento and Gold Country Chapter’s Color Guards

Members of the Sacramento and Gold Country Chapter’s Color Guards (above) joined together to escort and present a wreath at a Memorial Day program held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon on Monday, May 25, 2009. Approximately 1000 people attended the program.

Sacramento Chapter President Jeff Goodwin (below) read a proclamation by NSSAR President-General David Applebee. This proclamation was to be read at all the National Cemeteries.
